Thank you for your service

Eligible veterans, active duty service members, members of the National Guard and Reserves, and certain surviving spouses can use them to buy or refinance a primary residence.

  • Funding fee exemption for veterans receiving service connected disability compensation

Your Certificate of Eligibility

You’ll need a Certificate of Eligibility (COE). In most cases Curtis can request it for you electronically in minutes, so you don’t have to chase paperwork.

Making VA offers competitive

Some sellers worry about VA appraisals or timelines. Curtis works closely with listing agents to explain the process and help your offer stand out, so you never have to give up a benefit you earned.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my VA benefit more than once?

Yes. VA entitlement can be restored after a loan is paid off, and in many cases you can have more than one VA loan at a time.

Is there a VA loan limit?

Veterans with full entitlement generally are not subject to VA loan limits, though lenders still apply their own guidelines. Curtis will review your entitlement.

Does a VA loan have a funding fee?

Most VA loans have a one time funding fee that can be financed into the loan. Veterans receiving service connected disability compensation are typically exempt.

This page is general information, not a commitment to lend or an offer of credit. Program availability, eligibility and terms depend on your credit, income, property and lender guidelines and are subject to change. Contact Curtis for options specific to you.
